KIDZSONG!
" Bugs… Small creatures- Big Lessons"
Since we were kids, we have had a fascination with bugs and insects. How many times do you
remember as running in the fields at night to catch fireflies or grasshoppers, or dig for night crawlers?
Many of us never would have thought that BUGS could be used to teach valuable lessons about the Bible. But, it's true! That is what our new theme is designed to do...teach biblical truths in a creative and sometimes wacky way!
Naturally just like a bug does, they will have to crawl thru a tunnel to get inside our incredible
classroom. (Adults don't panic; there is also a door you can use!)
Here are just some things involved in making your child's KidzSong! Experience one they will never forget…
The BIG IDEA:
The BIG IDEA is a simple statement that sums up the entire week's lesson. Sometimes it rhymes,
sometimes it relies on rhythm, and other times it is just plain crazy! Don't forget to ask your child what it is each week!!
The Bug Man:
He's wild! He's wacky! He introduces the Insect we will be tackling each week.
The Bug Man also teaches the BIG IDEA each week!
Game Time:
Each lesson is reinforced by a game, (because really, who doesn't like games??)
Puppet Skit:
Peter Bugsly (Our old pal and faithful puppet) LOVES to stop by and chat with the children. (and give Miss Robin grief!)
Illustrated Message:
Because kids tend to learn best when we combine speaking the truth with visual illustrations, the
sermon will be illustrated!
The Power Verse:
We will always base each lesson on the word of God and have a special
"POWER VERSE" your child will learn during our service.
Bug Zone:
The children earn bugs each week to put in their "Bug Catchers" and trade them in for toys and other prizes at the end of service.
Also, Don't be surprised if your child starts rapping like our zany" Milkdud" does, at the end of each lesson. He likes to "Rap things up" Get it? RAP. Things. Up?? Oh Never mind…
As always, Parents are more than welcome to come in and check us out! Just remember.. this isn't your Grandmas Children's Church!
