How Awesome is that!

WHAT TO EXPECT...

We look forward to seeing you at New Song!

We know going anywhere the first time -- when you don't know what to expect -- can cause your anxiety levels to shoot through the roof. So here is some information we hope will be helpful to you. We desire to make your first visit with us a positive and uplifting experience.

What's our worship like?

Our worship team is a talented and passionate group who lead an anointed time of worship in song through a contemporary and upbeat style of music. You will see and hear vocalists, guitars, piano, and drums. You'll see people around you with their hands raised or down at their side; some with eyes open, some closed; some are singing loudly while others are just humming along! We're just trying to do what we believe blesses God and brings people closer to Him.

What's the preaching like?
New Song Assembly is first, foremost and always a church where God's Word -- the Bible -- is held in the greatest esteem as God's highest truth and revealed will. While we DO NOT "water down" the truth of God's word, we do proclaim it in love, and in ways that are interesting, engaging and relevant to your daily life. You may even hear an "amen!" or two!

The offering

As a guest, please do not feel obligated to give in the offering. The offering is for our members and regular attendees who consider New Song their church home. Generous and cheerful giving is an opportunity for us to place even our financial trust in God as we honor Him with our weekly tithes and offerings. Here's a twist - we do not "take" an offering. At the conclusion of the morning service, the giver makes their way to the communion table and places their offering in the plate.

Is there a dress code?

No. The Bible simply instructs us to dress modestly, so as not to be a distraction to others. We want you to come, be comfortable, and enjoy learning about God together. Our pastors often wear jeans, and rarely wear ties; so why should you?

Do you have nursery care?

Yes! You may take your infant or toddler - age three and under -- to the nursery after the song-service portion of the morning service has ended. If you want to stay with your child - no problem; we have a speaker in the nursery so you won't miss out on hearing the Word of God proclaimed.
