MISSIONS

World Missions

Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM), is engaged in missionary endeavor in many lands in pursuit of the original, audacious commitment of the Assemblies of God to unprecedented world evangelism.

New Song Assembly financially and prayerfully supports the following missionaries:

  • Robert Suarez -- Northern Ireland
  • Neil Vanaria -- Papua New Guinea
  • Mark Williams -- Spain

  • Don Butera -- Indonesia

HMC is the worldwide medical-missions arm of Assemblies of God World Missions that works directly through overseas missionaries and/or the national church. HCM conducts short-term missions trips, health education and development seminars and works with persons with disabilities. Through emergency response teams, HCM addresses the needs of disaster victims.

U.S. Missions

It is important that we stress the urgency of missions in America. Our country has an estimated 105 million lost souls. If we sit by and do nothing, there can be no doubt God will hold us accountable for letting these people die without Christ when it would have been so simple to share the gospel with them.

New Song Assembly financially and prayerfully supports the following missionaries:

  • Michael Wiles -- Church Ministry Development
  • Andrew Cunningham -- Chi Alpha @ Yale University Campus
  • John Flood -- Native Americans
  • Kurt Lange -- Urban Ministry @ Boston
  • Michael Olejarz -- Chi Alpha @ MIT Campus

Higher Education

  • Valley Forge Christian College
  • Zion Bible College

Ministries

  • AG Fellowship Partners, General support for the Assemblies of God
  • Network211 is an Internet ministry using 21st century technology to communicate the 1st century gospel. The ministry also provides content for local church Web ministries worldwide.

Special Missions Programs

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the "essential transportation and creative communication" equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word, and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the Great Commission.

  • Speed the Light (STL). STL is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. Since its beginning, STL has raised over $220 million for missionary equipment around the world.
  • Boys & Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC). BGMC is the Assemblies of God missions program for kids that instills a heart of compassion to reach the lost through praying, giving, and going. All funds raised through BGMC go to meet critical needs around the world such as feeding programs, water wells, Bible schools, curriculum, and whatever else a missionary needs in their part of the world. BGMC supporters have given over $96 million to support missionaries since it began in 1949!
