LEADERSHIP

LEAD PASTOR & CULTURAL ARCHITECT
David Reusch

In 2003, after pastoral ministry in Texas and Connecticut, David accepted the position of lead pastor & cultural architect at New Song Assembly. As lead pastor, he guides the various ministries of the church and proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor David follows a collaborative-style of leadership that encourages involvement from everyone. As cultural architect, he works to create an environment that inspires, and is in keeping with the church motto: A place to... be loved - belong - believe. Pastor David and his wife Robin, who also serves as the children's ministry leader, have two grown sons: David, who is a youth pastor in Maryland, and Thomas who works as a children's pastor in Texas.


TEACHING PASTOR
John Holmes

John and his wife Brenda are long-time members of New Song. In 2004, John accepted the position of teaching pastor. As a Bible teacher, John communicates the word of God in such a way that its meaning is easily understood and its implications embraced. John & Brenda co-facilitate LifeLessons -- our discipleship & mentoring ministry to adults, youth and children. They are the proud parents of Johnathon and Alexa. Johnathon is a currently a student at Holy Cross and Alexa, though still in high school, is an active member of the New Song youth community - leading in the worship arts.


YOUTH PASTOR
Israel Bowyer

Pastor Israel -- the students call him Pastor Izzi or P Izzi-- along with his wife Maryanne have taken up the challenging job of guiding the students in their relationship with Christ through discipleship groups, in-depth Bible studies, as well as worship and fellowship gatherings. Pastor Izzi and Maryanne work to provide an environment for our students that is joyful, fun, creative and caring.
